Saturday Workout


Hello lil chickpeas!

Working out on a Saturday might seem like madness but its the perfect way to start off the weekend! I like to exercise while my boyfriend is still sleeping so he can get a lie in without me bugging him I am a clever cookie!

Here is a great little workout to kick your weekend off…

I used a resistance band during this workout to kick up the intensity but if you don’t have one you can still do it

30 x swinging doors (15 each leg)
– to do this exercise tie the resistance band around both legs on your calfs and with one leg firmly on the floor raise and lower the other             leg, if have bad balance hold on to something.
10 x Burpees
30 x push backs (15 each leg)
– On your hand and knees wrap the band round on foot and hold the bands in your hands now kick your leg back and bring it back in                repeat 15 times and switch
1 minute skipping
15 x squats
– Bring the resistance band to shoulder level and squat as normal
15 x Tricep dips (no band)
30 x Eagle crunches
10 x Leg lifts

Repeat twice and your done. I follow this with a quick 30 minute run but that me!
